Belgium has a new auction record. On Friday, October 9, 2026, a 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari made €5,181,250 at the Zoute Concours Sale run by Broad Arrow in Knokke-Heist. Broad Arrow says it is the most valuable collector car ever sold at auction in the country.

The car is painted Grigio Ferro Metallizzato, a dark gray. It was the last lot of the night, and bidding opened at €2 million.

A record night for the whole sale

The LaFerrari was not the only big number. The sale offered more than 90 lots and brought in €34.6 million, with 91 percent of lots sold. Broad Arrow says it is the biggest collector car sale ever held in Belgium, by total. Registered bidders rose by more than 44 percent, and they came from 33 countries.

The sale is part of Zoute Grand Prix car week on the Belgian coast. The organizers say cars worth about €45 million sold at the week’s two auctions, Broad Arrow and Bonhams.

The other top lots

Modern hypercars led the results. A Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach in Paint-to-Sample Sport Classic Grey made €3,212,500. A Porsche Carrera GT in Guards Red sold for €2,762,500. A McLaren P1 made €1,890,625, and a Ferrari 812 Competizione made €1,496,875.

Older cars held up too. A Ferrari 250 GT Lusso sold for €1,075,000, and a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster made €1,041,250. A Ferrari 599 GTO and a Kimera EVO37 each sold for €1,131,250.

Broad Arrow says two cars set records for their models. An Aston Martin V8 Vantage X-Pack made €647,500. A BMW E39 M5 fitted with a Volkswagen W10 engine for Ferdinand Piëch made €411,250, the highest price yet for any E39.

Bonhams on the same weekend

Bonhams held its own Zoute sale on October 11. It made €10.2 million with 76 percent of lots sold. Its top lot was a Lamborghini Miura P400S at €1,725,000.

Why it matters

Three of the top four cars at Broad Arrow were the hybrid hypercars that collectors call the “Holy Trinity”: the LaFerrari, the 918 Spyder and the P1. The same pattern showed up at Monterey in August, where Hagerty found modern supercars made up more than half of sales. One sale does not make a trend, but the direction is the same.
