If you live in Europe and want to see a car with no steering wheel, Tesla is bringing one to you.
Tesla Europe announced on X this week that the Cybercab is going on a public tour. “Cybercab is back,” the post said. The first stop is Auto Zürich, the Swiss car show, which runs from Nov 5 to 8. From there the car goes to 11 more stops in nine countries, ending in Vienna in mid-January.

What the Cybercab is
It is a small two-seat electric car built only to drive itself. There are no pedals and no steering wheel inside, just two seats and a screen. Tesla first showed it in October 2024 at its “We, Robot” event in Los Angeles, and it has been testing it in the US since.
The European tour is a display only. Tesla’s event page and the trade sites that covered the tour all describe it the same way: you can walk around it and take pictures. There are no rides, no orders, and Tesla has not given a date for any robotaxi service in Europe.

Cities and dates
Here is the full list, as published on Tesla’s event page and reported by Not a Tesla App and TeslaNorth:
- Zürich, Switzerland: Auto Zürich, Nov 5 to 8
- Bratislava, Slovakia: Nov 20 to 21
- Düsseldorf, Germany: Nov 20 to 21
- Prague, Czech Republic: Nov 27 to 28
- Hamburg, Germany: Nov 27 to 28
- Warsaw, Poland: Dec 4 to 5
- Berlin, Germany: Dec 4 to 6
- Bucharest, Romania: Dec 11 to 12
- Munich, Germany: Dec 11 to 12
- Budapest, Hungary: Dec 18 to 19
- Brussels, Belgium: Brussels Motor Show, Jan 8 to 17
- Vienna, Austria: Vienna Drive, Jan 14 to 17
Germany gets four of the 12 stops, more than any other country. Exact venues for the city stops are on Tesla’s event page, which is the place to check before you travel, since dates for shows like these can shift.
Why bring it now
Tesla has not said much about the reason. The simple read is that it wants European buyers and regulators to get used to the idea. Self-driving cars without controls need approval to run on public roads in Europe, and Tesla has not announced that it has it. Not a Tesla App reports that an EU-wide vote on approving Tesla’s Full Self-Driving is expected in December. We have not seen an official EU date, and a car with no steering wheel or pedals would face a bigger approval hurdle than that.
Interest on X was steady but modest: by our count, posts about the tour ran at roughly 16 to 51 an hour on Monday morning and midday ET.

If you go
Bring a camera, not a wallet. The car is not for sale in Europe, and no price has been announced for European buyers. If you want to ride in a Tesla robotaxi, you will still need to be in one of the US cities where Tesla runs its service.
